This is an incredible short film of the shores of New York coast in stunning, pristine Full 1080p HD at 24p. This video ^hk3^ remarkable shots of the ocean waves in slow motion, cinematic resolution, film style quality and feel, and more. This film was shot by HiiDefinition with the Canon Vixia HF S21 along with a wide angle lens converter, model WD-H58. I also used a couple of filters to improve the picture. This video also shows how the ordinary shots can be turned into the up most extraordinary with color correction and correct cinematic aspect ratio. All the slow motion shots had been captured at 60i, and then the frame rate was cut in half to create slow motion pictures. I edited this video in Final Cut Pro 7, and I distorted shorthk16^^ clip by negative 33% to give the correct two.3five:1 aspect ratio. Distorting the picture by negative thirty 3 percent acts like an anamorphic lens, distorting the picture and growing the depth of field substantially. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have, and keep in mind to tell me what you believe! Also rate and subscribe if you want more!

being blurred from camera shake...still adapting to the no view finder haha.
Oh and is in normal for it to take a second or so to focus when zooming in really fast? Especially on a fast moving object? Or do you think it may be my settings? I know on one of your vids it has the running sceen and even though its really shaky (in a good way) its still top quality and in focus. Thats how I need mine to be haha. You ever think of making a how to vid? or a how to DVD???
If you triple click on a clip on the timeline, All the info should appear in one of the windows. In that window, click the "motion" tab and go to aspect ratio. Than distort the picture by -33% (negative) and you should get proper 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
You'd get my view! Trust me! Haha.
Yea im just not sure. Might have to play around with the sony vegas settings. If you watch part of my newest vid (westsyde show) it has perfect examples of what i'm talking about the double effect and quality. Lol its just so confusing...YOU WILL MOST DEFINATELY GET MY VIEW! FAV! RATING! AND THANK-YOU! Haha
Well I have a vista computer and the video clip type won't play on my computer unless its played using the program the camcorder came with or if I transport them into Sony Vegas, but when I play it in either of those the quality is fine...it just seems to happen once I start to edit them and then save them...thats probably where the problem lies I guess...that or the settings on the camcorder...maybe both...idk all I do know if I HAVE to figure it out. And find out how to keep the vids from...
What do you mean by distorted? And how do you do it on Final Cut Pro? Im about to get that same camera Ive heard a lot of good stuff about it
Yeah, if you're focused on an object being zoomed in all the way and it should be take some time, anyway, I'm thinking of making a how to video, but I'm not exactly sure if it will get the views I intend it to get.
Yeah, I'll think about it, but thanks for the support anyway.
Thanks, anyway, perhaps your problem lies in your exporting settings, or maybe even in your computer screen. What codec do you use in exporting clips? Also make sure the refresh rate of your screen is put at the highest, around 60HZ is usually ideal. If none of those are the cause to your problems, than maybe the importing setting has to do with this double effect you explained below. Try importing these clips through another method, like through a converter.
Thanks man, appreciate it.
